1. About these terms

These terms describe the conditions under which Tickhaven ("we", "us", "our") accepts watches and timepieces for bench service at our workshop located at 58 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. They also cover use of our website at tickhaven.sbs.

By leaving a timepiece with us, or by using this website to make an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, please contact us before proceeding — we are happy to talk through any question.

2. Our services

We offer the following bench services:

• Quartz & Battery Service — battery renewal, seal inspection, and basic water-resistance assessment
• Strap, Bracelet & Case Care — resizing, link adjustment, gasket renewal, and gentle case cleaning
• Complete Vintage Overhaul — full-service restoration of older mechanical movements, including case and sympathetic refinishing work

All services are carried out at our workshop by our bench team. We do not send timepieces to third-party repairers without your prior knowledge and agreement.

Prices listed on our website are indicative starting points. A firm written quote is provided after initial inspection of the piece, and no work begins until you confirm your approval.

3. Accepting a timepiece for service

When you bring or send a timepiece to us, we will:

1. Issue a written intake record describing the piece's condition on arrival
2. Carry out a preliminary inspection within a reasonable time
3. Provide a written quote before any work commences
4. Begin work only once you have given clear approval of that quote

You retain ownership of your timepiece throughout the service. We hold it solely to carry out agreed work and return it to you promptly on completion and payment.

4. Quotes, pricing, and payment

Quoted prices are in Thai Baht (฿) and are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Prices include the work described in the quote; any additional work discovered during the service will be communicated before it is undertaken.

Payment is due on collection of the piece, or prior to return by post or courier. We accept Thai bank transfer and cash. We do not hold pieces for extended periods pending payment; please contact us if you require more time.

Website prices shown (฿4,200 / ฿14,500 / ฿33,000) are starting prices for the relevant service tier and may vary depending on the specific condition, complexity, or age of the piece presented.

5. Turnaround times

Estimated turnaround times are provided with each quote. These are genuine working estimates, not fixed commitments. Older mechanical pieces in particular may reveal further work requirements once opened, which can affect the schedule. We will inform you of any significant change to an estimated completion date.

We ask that you allow a reasonable period for collection after we notify you that work is complete. Pieces left uncollected for more than 60 days after completion notice may incur a storage charge; we will always contact you before any such charge is applied.

6. Care and responsibility

We handle every piece entrusted to us with appropriate care and skill. We will photograph the piece on intake and document its condition. In the unlikely event that damage occurs during our service through our own error, we will discuss this with you honestly and work to find a fair resolution.

We are not responsible for pre-existing faults not noted in the intake record, nor for normal wear and ageing that may become more apparent once a piece is cleaned or examined closely. Our intake inspection is thorough, and we will note anything we observe before work begins.

We recommend that owners of particularly valuable or sentimental pieces ensure their own insurance covers the watch while it is in our care. We can provide written documentation of intake value estimates on request.

7. Declined or abandoned work

If you decline a quote after initial inspection, a modest inspection fee may apply to cover bench time. This will be communicated to you in advance if applicable.

If we are unable to reach you for approval within 30 days of issuing a quote, or if a piece remains uncollected for 90 days after repeated attempts to contact you, we reserve the right to treat the piece as abandoned. We will make every reasonable effort to reach you before taking any such step, and will document all contact attempts.

8. Website use

The information on our website is provided in good faith and kept as current as we are reasonably able. We do not warrant that it is free of errors at all times. Prices, availability, and service descriptions may change; the version in force at the time of your enquiry is the one that applies.

You may browse our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use website content in any commercial context without our written permission.

Our website may link to third-party sites for reference. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of those sites.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the value of the service itself, or a reasonable assessment of the pre-service value of the timepiece if damage arises through our demonstrable error. We exclude liability for indirect losses, consequential loss, or loss of a piece's sentimental value beyond its monetary worth.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from the services or website use will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand. We will always seek to resolve any concern directly with you before matters reach that stage — please contact us first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you engage our services is the version that applies to that service. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
